Tasking: Observation of PoI #182965 at location and time advised. Record conversation between PoI and any contact.

Report:

The new recording device supplied by Technical Division is exceptionally easy to conceal and deploy compared to previous versions. It recorded the ambient noise of the location, i.e. the band playing, extremely well but was utterly useless at the required task of picking up the conversation between the person of interest and their contact.
